P-Synch can be configured to allow users who forgot their password, or whose password was locked or expired, to reset their password, unlock their account and unexpire their password. This is all done with a web browser.

Users access this facility after using the front-end authentication module. If you have disabled front-end configuration, you must decide how users will be authenticated. See Section HERE for more information.
To configure web-based self-service password reset, follow these steps:
To verify that self-service password reset from a web browser is activated, assuming that the P-Synch server is called password, access the following URL:
http://password/psynch/nph-pss.exe?qa_ext=keyword
Where keyword is one of the keywords from TABLE: [AUTHENTICATION-TYPES].
You should be able to log in with an existing P-Synch user ID and authenticate with that user's question-and-answer profile or security token pass code.
